Brahmacharya and What is it ? PART - 1

Brahmacharya is an amalgamation of  two words "Brahma" and "Acharya" Brahma means the Ultimate and Acharya means the path, the path to ultimate is what is called as Brahmacharya. So how is it the path to ultimate, do we not all want to experience the ultimate  ? we certainly do,then what is the path that needs to be followed , this article will follow the same. Brahmacharya is purity in thought, word and deed. Brahmacharya is the founding stone in a man's life , without it a  man is just an animal nothing that separates him from the animal instincts ,infact, much deplorable. Brahmcharya is edifice on which a man's character is built. You sow an action and reap a tendency , the sown tendency leads to building of habit, one sows an habit and reaps their character, one sows his character and reaps his destiny, therefore destiny is a bundle of habits , you can disarm the destiny if you like , Brahmcharya is your weapon. Free will or Destiny?

This world  is based on full freedom and absence of any forcible destiny.     Here, you are free to do any type of work and no destiny forces you to do any specific work as said in the Gita (Na kartrutvam...). The concept of destiny exists only in the link of the specific work and the specific fruit. You have full freedom to put your finger in fire or water. No destiny forces you to put your finger in fire or water. The destiny lies only in the link between a specific work and corresponding specific fruit. After burning the finger, you may say that you have put the finger in the fire due to the destiny. God has destined the specific system, which links every action with a specific fruit. After putting your finger, God is not ordering the fire to burn it. The subsequent frui...

Dr. Subramanian Swamy although born in Mylapore his family soon shifted to...

Are you a Hindu? How aware are you?

. Who is a Hindu? Why you should be a proud Hindu? The word Religion comes from the Latin word religio which consists of two words, viz., re (back) and ligare (to bring or bind). That which binds the soul back to God is religion. Religion shows the way for the attainment of God-realization. Religion satisfies the deep inward craving in man who is not always content with leading merely an animal existence and wants spiritual consolation, solace and peace. Man cannot live by bread alone. A time comes in the life of many of us when mere worldly prosperity does not satisfy us and we hanker after something more. In the case of many more, trials and tribulations of life turn their attention to spiritual solace. Hinduism is the religion of the Hindus, a name given to the Universal Religion which hailed supreme in India. It is the oldest of all living religions. This is not founded by any prophet. Buddhism, Christianity and Mohammedanism owe their origin to the prophets. Their dates are f...
