Mind Matters ,Matter doesn't Mind (Part 2)

Perception Perception it's all a deception... he kept shouting hysterically ,Gopal remained silent for he knew what was it that the mystic was trying to do while the three of them looked at this man in bewilderment but waited for him to calm down and see how things unfolded. After a while of hysteric screams and running the mystic went and sat on a rock folded his legs, closed his eyes and it appeared as if he went into a deep trance, Kiara nudged Z and asked , what is it? Z maintained his composure and did not utter a word. An hour passed by, the moon was shining completely ,with its pearl like reflection on sea. He asked the four of them to sit down near the rock , as soon as they sat, Kiara who could no longer resist her curiosity asked the mystic "What is your name"? "Oh! Me?" said the Mystic , they call me by a variety of names sometimes Mad Man sometimes The Healer , often as the one who knows witch-craft but you can call me Sunira. "Never heard such a name"said Rehaan , to which Sunira replied often what you do not know, see or hear is of vital importance and a nexus of questions began to form. Silence prevailed after an hour or so of their dialogue , Sunira saw there was a certain sense of uneasiness on N's face. He asked her , "What is it"? N lurked before saying she clasped her fingers and said why do we not get what we desire? If we do ,why do we not have the resources ? If we do ,why is that there is no will? How can we have anything we desire ,if there is anything at all as god and one can gain anything through that being why do we not get what we wish for? Gopal ,Kiara,Rehaan had never seen N questioning something so desperately but then again it was Zumbala ,the land of miracles anything could happen there. Sunira began speaking he said did you pay attention to what I said when I came? N said " of course" Perception, Perception it's all a deception.. isn't it? Sunira said "Yes but do you know what it means?" No, was the response from the three of them.
Do you know mind matters but matter doesn't mind? The divine is you and you are the divine? were the words of Sunira, the three of them looked at each other in utter confusion.

Does this now sound a bit interesting and confusing to you as well? Won't be surprised if I'd be reading it in the first place. Like N do we  not have the same bunch of questions? Do we not want to create everything we want? Isn't it surprising that one man is all confident and joyous while other is depressed and restless? How is it that one woman is poised and charming while other seems to be insecure about herself? How does one possess all the abilities to make things work while the other is struggling to pass his time? There has to be a universal basis or application or a rule which applies to all work and all beings which makes one tremendously successful and others miserable failures? Do you know where the secret lies? The elixir of all power? The infinite potentiality of creating just about anything which one desires? Do you want to know the force which is moving all planets ? Keeping this body functioning throughout the day without any effort? One which sustains  this cosmos ?  One which has created the cosmos? The one which can help you create anything you desire? The secret lies within the intelligence of the mind. The words of Sunira that the divine is you and you are the divine and mind matters but matter doesn't mind will be shortly addressed in this article.

How often do we use our mind? How often do we consciously think? How do we have certain latent tendencies which distinguishes us than any other being? How is it that we often get attracted to people who think like us and have similar choices and tastes? Why do we see the same things over and over ? Why do we remember certain things till our last breath and struggle to remember other?  How do our eyes identify a known one in a crowd full of strangers? Do we know the answer to it? In simple words all of it is possible only when we have certain memory attached to it ,there has to be a certain identification with a certain element, habit, food group, movie, emotion, person which makes it likeable or otherwise. But where does this memory reside? The memory resides within the subconscious mind. The further we move in this article it will be seen by the reader that the content is a mixture of  philosophical thoughts and science but fundamentally all of it is science to explain it in detail will be a deviation from the main topic.

In the yogic terminology the mind is fundamentally categorised into four aspects Buddhi,Manas,Chitta,Ahankar. Buddhi means intellect ,the ability to discriminate and dissect , Manas refers to all the mental activity the thoughts, emotions, events everything that keeps going on and on till the last breath. Chitta is the subconscious mind. Ahankar is what one identifies one with. An example of this is when one responds to the question of who one is? One often responds by saying I am either their name, their profession or the native of the village they belong to and so on. But isn't it what we really are? How is it any different? Aren't we what we call ourselves? Well , No. But then who are we? If not what we know ourselves to be what or who are we? The logic behind this begins when one begins to introspect and answer certain questions? When we are asked our name we respond by saying I am Nadini,Isha,Anamika or whatever one has been named , when asked about their counterparts one says that their wife/husband belong to certain profession or to a certain place and so on. To simplify further when one buys something they say I brought this or if they do a task they claim that I have done this but if one observes there is an I in everything followed by an action .To add-on to this when one is bruised,  one says "oh my leg is bruised" and on an unpleasant day they claim to be unhappy because of ugliness in their thoughts but all one talks in terms Haves,Does, Dont's ,This or that, which simply makes it clear that one has a mind and body but clearly they are neither the body nor the mind but there is a certain awareness on the fact that "I AM" if we are neither this body ,nor the mind, who are we...........?

Battle of Rakshasbhuvan

It was evening, after planning the strategy for the following day , Raghunath rao stepped out of Peshwa Madhavrao's tent when ,suddenly like a flash right in front of Raghunathrao, before he could realise what had happened ,an armed man stood in front of him. The sharp blade of his sword glistened in the twilight. Before he managed to escape his blade managed to slice through his shoulder. He was taken to his tent where was examined by the Royal physician. The wound was not too dee, medicine was applied and it was dressed. The next morning, clouds had gathered in the sky. The base camp was idle. In the next few hours Peshwa's troops charged towards the Jhadav camp, Jhadav's camp was utterly taken back by this sudden attack. Shrimant Madhavrao was sitting in Raghunath's camp when Jhadav was brought in captive. Raghunathrao expressed his discontentment upon...

THE ROAR UNHEARD : CHHATRAPATI SHIVAJI BHONSLE ( PART -1)

How often do we come across men of grit and character? How often do we flip the annals of history and come across rulers who could be bestowed with the responsibility of the country? At a point in time when dark clouds of Islamic forces hailed supreme and persecution was at its peak, a cry in the Maharashtrian district of Shivneri, crackled as though it was chosen to rattle the Islamic forces and liberate the land, the  man who fought for the culture and established a Hindu Empire, the pride of Marathas- Chhatrapati Shivaji, not known to many as Shivaji Bhonsle. As mercenaries, the Bhonsles settled in districts of Maharashtra owing their sword and allegiance to the Muslim rulers who ruled there. Much of the Deccan was annexed by the Adil Shahi Dynasty, who too accepted the suzerainty of the Mughals. The Adil Shahi Sultanate ruled majorly over the Bijapur district of the present day Karnataka, Bijapur was earlier a part of the Bahamani Kingdom, which had broken into five compa...

The Chief Architect Of India - Peshwa Madhavrao Bhatt- Pt 1

After the decisive Third Battle of Panipat much had changed in the political , historical and cultural fabric in the Indian History , the rise of regional powers like the Jats,Sikhs and several others was witnessed.  The sacrifice of Shrimant Sadashivrao Bhau and Vishwasrao on the battlefield made them legends, on the other hand Balaji Baji Rao aka Nana Saheb succumbed to the loss of a valiant brother and a righteous heir. In the midst of such a political crisis ,what was the Peshwai to do? Was this the end of the Vision of Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj and great statesman Bajirao ?The countless sacrifices made by great generals and ministers of the Samrjy seemed to be in vain. The Peshwai was now in the hands of a widow , a greedy brother of the late Peshwa who waited patiently to capture the Gaddi and a young child-like muscular boy of 16, whose face shone like the Kohinoor ,whose grit was yet to be tested verily , by the lord, who mustered the courage to reorganize the disgrun...
